Tom Bair and Gekko Productions have more than 20 years’ experience in digital video, from interactive laserdisc projects in the 80’s, through CD-ROM in the 90’s, to Interactive TV and streaming HD today.   Throughout my time working in interactive media, I’ve honed my video production skills as a producer, shooter, and editor.

My most recent staff job was Director of Video Experience and Operations for Crackle, Sony Pictures Entertainment's online content portal.  Prior to that, my consulting clients have included  BitTorrent, AOL, Charles Schwab, Kontiki/VeriSign, Liberate Technologies, Excite@Home, Apple Computer, and others.

My areas of expertise include a deep technical knowledge of the full digital video supply chain, from project concepting, scripting, and producing; through broadcast-quality HD lighting, shooting, and sound; to capture, editing, encoding, and final streaming delivery.  As a producer, I have a special expertise with technical subjects, amateur talent, and creative solutions to unforeseen production challenges.
